Since it arrived in Oregon I rebuilt the WCFB, assessed the condition of the suspension and steering (not that bad- needs kingpin bushings, though), did some power washing under the hood, then had a daughter. It’s probably going to look like this for the foreseeable future.
Where does you project stand today?

Here’s the last pic I took of the POS Camaro. Since this was taken I’ve done some work on the rear quarters to make them a little more solid and put the hood back on. The latter is temporary since the hinges are bent and need replaced. The car was originally a non-runner and I’ve been through just about every system in it, including the wiring.

I’ve got multiple project cars. One of them became more than I can handle (engine was too far gone), so the project is taken over by someone else. I’m still responsible for the funding and parts gathering. It’ll get a rebuild turbo engine from a 1996 Lancia. Engine is almost done.
As it was when I bought it (1987 Peugeot 205 CTi):
My most recent project car is a 30 years old base model. I bough it for €300. It’s in decent enough old car condition, so I can teach myself to wrench on it a bit better without getting in over my head. I’ll do the oil pan gasket soon. Recently did a control arm and a drive shaft. I’ll get a lot of ‘upgrade’ parts at a junk yard as well. Like a relay to get intermittend wipers, door bins, handles for the roof so you can brace yourself, a clock, a 12V/lighter plug and speaker covers.

Currently the new front suspension and brakes for my Bug are sitting on my living room table, but I’ll count that as progress!

Which one?!
My main one is my Triumph Spit 6 (a Spitfire with the 6-cyl from a GT6 or TR6 swapped in). I’ve decided to try something that I don’t think has ever been tried on these cars before (and rarely on any other car) by welding the body directly to the chassis to try and increase stiffness, as well as welding the steel hardtop to the bodyshell. I’ve welded all I can on the upper side, apart from repairing the leading edge of the roof and a couple of little patches here and there. Then it’s back up on my home-made a-frame and I’ll start boxing in the underside :)
I’ve also got two other Spitfires that are projects-in-waiting. If all goes well on this one, both will be getting the unibody treatment. One will stay a drop-top but will get a Triumph 1850 slant-4 swapped in. The other will be getting the roof from a thoroughly rusty GT6 shell I bought welded to the top, and either a Triumph 2.0l 16v from a Dolly Sprint or a Saab B202. At the moment, they’re both sheltering in the garage I’ve just built for them :)
Then, last of the big projects, I’ve got an MG B GT that I accidentally bought for 99p! That will be getting a Rover V8, a 5-speed from a Leyland van, a transfer case from a Disco, IRS from a Jag XJ40, custom front drivetrain using a Subaru R160 and big knobbly tyres :)
It’ll be an MG Baja!

One of them is back on the road (albeit briefly)!
After a catastrophic wheel bearing failure last month, I’d laid up my Triumph 2000 for winter, thinking that there’d be snow on the ground by the time I could track down a replacement hub and stub-axle. But with the last of the parts having shown up on Friday, and the weather looking to hold for another couple of weeks, I couldn’t resist taking it out.
The MGA didn’t get much love this year, what with the Triumph’s arrival and all. Maybe next year I’ll start on it in earnest...
